Welcome to the WHITBY SCOUT TRAIL website

First Snow on Scout Trail_0706

The Trail post pictured marks the south end of the Trail at the northwest corner of Pringle Drive and Bradley Drive in Whitby, Ontario. (See the Map section for details.)

This post and others like it , was made from sections of recycled hydro poles. The hand carved Scout emblem is intended to represent all sections of Scouting in the Whitby area - Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders and Area Scouters.

The Scout Trail is a joint project; shared by Scouts Canada, Whitby Area and the Corporation of the Town of Whitby.

Trail Badge Resized for web page

The Scout Trail is dedicated to the Citizens of the Town of Whitby, in the hope that they will experience and appreciate the unique beauty of a small portion of the Pringle Creek valley lands. The Trail is intended to encourage a quiet walk in the midst of our Town. The Trail also provides educational and community service opportunities for our Scouting members, the citizens of Whitby as well as youth in surrounding schools. By appreciating the natural world around us, perhaps we will be motivated to take better care of this precious heritage and ensure its safe passage to the generations who follow.

See you on the Trail.
